Geez, the summer just flew by, the furnace is running and I still haven't raked my leaves!

  But the Online store is going great.  Now for those of you who have asked what we feed our dogs, let me give it to you straight.

Our preferred dog food is Fromm 4 Star and we alternate between the various flavors.  Good protein to fat ratio, grain free and Human grade ingredients makes this a top choice for healthy weight, great coat, and firm stools.  We also supplement our dogs with Activia yogurt once a week,  Cottage cheese as a topper, or Tripe, or Pumpkin.  We make our own treats with Yams or Sweet Potatoes.  Just microwave them for 6 minutes, Put in fridge to cool, then slice them into bite size pieces.  This is what keeps our Dogs healthy and enabled.  The cats get Fromm too for the dry food, left out all the time for them.  Every morning I open 3 cans of Holistic select, or Taste of the Wild, or Evo canned cat food and each of the 5 babies gets his or her own bowl. Weekly Brushing keeps the fur from flying and all is well in cat world.  The birds are on ABBA seed with daily supplements of Cheese, or chicken, and always some kind of fruit. Apples oranges, bananas this plus fresh water and a spritz bath once a week makes them happy campers here as well.

Well July is almost over, How come the summer rushes by and the winter months drag?  This has been a frustrating time for us here at Brehon's.  Last October, we opened our new store in Castle Shannon, PA. Most of our old customers followed us, and we met so many new people as well at the location.  Then, PennDot decided to begin a project that was supposed to have been completed 6 years ago, came in an tore up Grove Road.  

This project started in June, and is still going on today. Our business tanked, couldn't pay the rent, and those of you who know Kathie and I know that we put our heart and soul into this business along with most of our 401Ks.  So that result is that we are closing the retail store, but we are still going to sell you the best foods and toys and accessories, with  a whole new business plan.  

Brehon's is going on line with a home delivery service. Yup, you can buy anything you did when you came into our store,but, online.  We will deliver it to your door when the order arrives. Orders will be placed every week, so everything will be fresh, and deliveries will happen every Friday and Saturday.  So you go online, place your order by Monday at 12 noon, We will bring it to you on Friday or Saturday.  Or if you prefer, you can pick it up at our warehouse here in Bridgeville!!  I would really like some feedback as to how you might be willing to have the convenience of online shopping, and have your Pet supplies delivered to you door No more fighting traffic, wondering if we are open, and if we have what you need in stock..So drop me a line at brehon1@gmail.com and tell me what you think, or post it here and we all can read it.

Say Hello to LuLu Belle!

This is our girl LuLu Belle  her friends call her Bella!.  She is 2.5 years old weighs in a 50 pounds and has had one litter of puppies.  We have one little boy from her who lives with our daughter Maureen. His name is Louis but her neighbors call him Luigi!  We have learned so much about English Bulldogs from owning her, and now work with the Mid-Atlantic Bulldog Rescue.  So far we have had 2 foster children an 1 year old boy, and a 3 year old girl who just left us on Sunday.  I'll tell you all about them later.  I want to introduce all of our kids to you but that will take some time.  We currently have 14 chihuahuas, 3 Bull Terriers, 1 bulldog, and three French Mastiffs in the dog world, 5 rescue cats, and 3 tropical birds an amazon, a cockatoo, and a macaw. Our house is pretty full but we always have room for one more.
